Kindle Montessori is a new Montessori school, which was set up by Lidia Wright in 2010.  It offers a unique two year curriculum, allowing your child to benefit from two years of montessori education. 

Originally from Castleknock, Lidia moved to set up home in Pinebrook, Clonsilla in 2004.  Lidia holds a diploma and 2.1 degree in Communications and Media Production, and used her creative talents succesfully in this business for many years.  However it was after the birth of her first son Samuel that Lidia began to further explore the area of childcare and education, and was drawn to the specific teaching practices of Maria Montessori.  Choosing to return to education, Lidia received her montessori teaching diploma with First Class Distinction from Portobello Institute, along with a Fetac Level 6 qualification.

The Kindle Montessori classroom is located in Lidia's family home, creating a safe, welcoming, warm environment for the children.  A full Montessori Curriculum is covered, and there is an extensive range of specialised Montessori materials available to the children.  A key element of Maria Montessori's philosophy is one to one teaching, so class numbers are small, with less than ten children in each session, therefore giving each child the individual attention necessary to facilitate the best possible learning experience.

Subjects covered in depth in the classroom include Practical Life Skills, Sensorial Education, Language Development, Montessori Maths, Geography, Science, Music, and Arts and Crafts.  There are daily Circle Times, which include weekly lessons on a variety of Cultural Aspects.  There is also a quiet reading corner, where children are free to explore our extensive library.
